Wheat Field Meditation Series

“Inspired by the wind dancing through the wheat fields near me, I wanted to portray the feeling of freedom within movement, and the visual aspect of lots of individual pieces moving together to create rhythm and flow.”

“I chose to use pink sunshine and oatmeal glaze to reflect the calming hues and colours I saw in the wheat fields. The variation in each firing is as wide as the variations in nature, after all, the glaze is made out of natural elements and does it’s own kind of dance in the kiln.”
